I work two jobs: one full-time during the day and another part-time, on Friday and Saturday nights as a food courier for Skip The Dishes.
When I heard how dire the situation was for the people of Fort McMurray, I made a decision to donate to the cause using all the cash orders I received from my part-time job.
In other words, when someone paid for their delivery in cash, rather than stashing my pay from that order in my wallet, I instead set it aside and on Sunday afternoons donated the cash to the Red Cross.
My goal was to raise enough to donate $200.
In the end, my tally was $208.
